I live in Kansas and we have had more than our fair share of "liquid sunshine" here too.
As you Texans have, we've been in a drought for 4 or 5 years also and the rain is welcome....to a point. We don't have flooding in my area but, there has been some around the state.
Yesterday was the first sunny day we have had in two weeks and I think today will be the same. I'm starting to think I live in London or something.
The farmers are loosing the wheat crop to moisture this year instead of drought. They are getting ready to harvest in 2 or 3 weeks and the fields are too wet to even walk on not to mention using machinery to cut with.
