I am still here. It has been an, well, interesting year for me. I spent the first 4 months alternating between sick and really sick with a cold, or something, that would not go away. I had no energy or ambition. As a result, I was a month and a half late for my re-opening at our local Farmer's Market. I did get enough made to open in the middle of May. I did pretty well this year, actually made some money. I got several orders for special items, including an urn to hold 2 adults and one child. The lady who made the order agreed on the design and price, she is now saving money to pay for it. I am only charging her my cost. An order for 2 loungers for this coming summer, and a trellis for this spring.
LOML's grand daughter is having a baby now. By now, I mean she is in labor at the hospital. Sienna Ruth is due any minute. I made a cradle for the baby, and if I can remember how to post pictures, I will do so. My grand daughter is having a baby in February, and I just finished a 2nd cradle, and will be delivering that on Saturday.
My 2nd grand daughter is graduating from college in March, so a hope chest is in order for her. That work starts in January.
Some may remember my saga of the scroll saw. Well, I love my DeWalt. It cuts much better than I do, as do the Flying Dutchman blades, so it has been a learning experience. I am getting better, even sold a few things at the market. Leaves are a big seller, along with 'fridge magnets and tea light holders. I made a couple of boxes for gifts, and they went over well.
I had to have a license and business name to be at the market. The only thing I could come up with at the time was “Bob's Boards”. Kinda hokey, so I am changing it to “Blue Dragon Woodworking”. New logo and business cards. I don't know why Blue Dragon other than I like the color blue and dragons.
I got a copy of CorelDraw for not a whole lot of money and have been working on my own scroll saw patterns. I have made a few with the help from Steve Good and his blog. He has over 1000 patterns for free at his web sight. I highly recommend it.

Well, I guess that kinda catches me up. I hope all my friends here had a great year. I will try to keep up better this year.
