Well, Lowe's and the scroll saw was a total bust. It seems if you go into Lowe's and order a tool it comes from the vendor, not their warehouse. If you order that tool on line it comes from the warehouse. The vendor, Black and Decker, is out of DeWalt scroll saws, and won't have any before the end of June. But, if I had wanted to pay the full price I could have one in 7 days. I don't understand why they do it that way, and after 4 days of everybody from the manager down making phone calls, no answer. So I went on line looking for the saw. Grizzly carries them. So I called, they have lots in stock for $439.95 plus shipping and tax. Back to Lowe's to get my money back and into the bank. Back home to place my order. Expected shipping was 3 to 5 days. I ordered the saw at 5:00pm Tuesday afternoon. Thursday at 1:30 in the afternoon I had my saw sitting on my bench. Now that is customer service. My total cost was $499.92. And what a wonderful piece of equipment. No comparison to my Delta Shopmaster. Now I need to get busy improving my technique. Picture later.

GREAT!!! I hate those "bait and switch" tactics.

Bob, yes, there is the difference between night and day between the two saws. You have a great one now at a great price.

Yes, techniques do need to improve after forcing cuts with a not-so-great scrollsaw. You'll get it

Great to hear Bob. Some times you just have to go out and do your own shopping around. Looking forward to the pics.
