I was at Wally world yesterday waiting for the wife and saw a former coworker. While we were talking about what we were doing since the shop closed down. (We were both journey man tool grinders with very good reputations for the quality of our work. He is now a substitute custodion at a school and I am a substitute teacher ). The former general forman came slowly by pushing/leaning on a shoping cart. He had the look of some one totally lost. He walked right past us and did not reconise either of us. When John called out to him he just looked around over us and kept on going. We watched as he went further, turned around and slowly started back. I walked up to him and called him by name, he just gave me a blank stare, John introduced himself and also got a blank stare.I don't know what has happened to him but it is obvious that something is very wrong with his mental state, I don't know his exact age but he is younger than I am. Getting older is certainly no fun when you see people you worked with going so far down hill.
