Good brandy and Egg Nog.

What are your traditional ones?

Jack Daniels black label bourbon or Jameson Irish whiskey.

Hey Yank,

I like a good Tom&Jerry (nog and brandy), but I also like warm drinks after a day (or night) outdoors. A hot toddy, or an Irish coffee (the only time I drink Jameson's, sorry Rog) really hit the spot on a cold night. Hot buttered rum is something I will continue to experiment with, but the only one I've really liked was made with melted ice cream, and I never got the recipe.

Tom

ps. Kris (the savory girl) says her favorite is champagne (of course).

Agree with John T...love it. Also on Christmas with our boys we have mimosa's and sausage balls while opening presents.

I find that a good bourbon with a couple cubes is perfect for just about any special occasion.

In particular, an Islay malt. Ardbeg when the budget allows.
