We finally finished the new canteen at my Legion post. I hope the pics come out. The room is approximately 40' X 35', the bar is 2" thick, and can seat 16 people. The stain is pecan, with 5 coats of poly, first coat of Zinser sanding sealer, thinned to 1# cut. The granite on the island weights about 400lbs, and just sets there. Not glued, don't think it will move. It took us two months to complete, and Friday was the opening night.
Our Grand Opening will be in conjunction with our New Years Party.
