I am still around. I haven't posted much since February, ok, almost nothing. I have been busy. My first year at the local farmer's market is almost over, and I have done well. The pens and pencils are doing really good, planters are good, and the rest of my stock is selling a little at a time. I seem to spend my days replenishing stock or working the “Honey Do” list down. I have had several orders for specialty pens and a couple for planters, and repeat customers. I also have an old rocking chair to restore over the winter, an order for a coffee table and a blanket chest to make before Christmas.

I have been checking in here almost every day and have been keeping up with all that is going on. Glad to see the regulars are still posting a lot. I look forward to reading all the new posts and still learning from all the contributors.

The big news for me is that my daughter is going to have baby number 6 in November, that will give me 7 grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren. Whew!!!!

Up in Infeed there is a picture of my newest toys. The plans for the blanket chest called for dovetails, and I know from futile attempts that I will not be able to do them by hand. Thus the Leigh 18” Super Jig and the DeWalt router. Love 'em both.

Great to see you posting again Bob. i have missed you and your knowledge.

Question on the chest, is cedar your choice for the timber? I made one for me in the early "90's", and it is still the best chest I made. No reduction in odor and has not lost any of it's color or sheen.
Keep us posted on your projects. PLEASE.

Wayne
