It was 110 at beer-thirty today when the shop AC quit.
Mo went home.
I messed with it until it cooled down and re-set. Its working now.
Come back Mo!!! Ya got a beer to finish!!

Hey Bill, how long has it been since you made me buy that window AC?
I'm saying at least 15 years.

It is now 105 degrees (6:30 PM) but, it is only 89 in the shop and somewhat less humidity too. :D

Thanks for the offer Monte but, it's working as good as it ever has, now.
Things just don't last as long as they used to.
My son told us that our best TV is on its way out also. We just got that thing in '97 and it still has a picture and sound so what more could you ask for? No, the screen isn't FLAT but, it works.
The old TV (guesing '83 or so) is in my shop and I can still watch "Myth Busters" ,"Pawn Shop" and "Pickers" so who could ask for anything else?
Just Keep on Keepin on". :D

You hit my hot button, Rog! Propriety prevents me from speaking my mind.

I don't see how you folks can deal with that heat! We're having what's fairly hot weather out here, a bistering 75 degrees or more(?) I wilt by late afternoon.

Well, it's 110 again today (3:20 PM) but the AC is working fairly well. About an hour to go for beer-thirty. Mo should be walking in any time now. I did get to vote and a little work on a sitting bench for my DIL this afternoon.. :D

Weather dot com says 100F and 113 feelie, Accuweather says 101 and 109 feelie here as of the time of this post. My terriblemometer on the porch says 102, and I haven't gone outside in several hours, so I'll just have to go with what the experts say about feelie temp. Beer thirty arrived about 4 hours ago.

It's past beer thirty here and it's still 94 or so. Paper today said that this is the hottest three months in Tampa's history. If a storm ever gets in the Gulf this season, watch out  . A/C in your shop , who needs that?

I was installing a new attic access in our daughters garage here in Texas no cooling poor air circulation and a temp of 100+ not adding the heat from the roof.
The heat down here beats the heck out of the 90's with 80% humidity at home in Chicago land. No cooling yet in my shop.
Our youngest son (Aaron) with some help from the oldest (Danial) have been installing a steel roof on our house.
I just kept drinking lots of water and wiping my forehead must have sweat out a gallon or 2.

Well folks, it is suppose to be getting cooler in th next few days. I SURE HOPE SO!!!
No joke now....A newspaper reporter baked biscuts and cookies and cooked hotdogs on the dash of her car the other day!
My AC quit again last evening! I unpluged it, let it cool down for 30 minutes or so and got it running again.
The temp. in the shop went up 4 degrees during that 30 minutes! That was about 6:30- 7:00 PM, during dinner time.
