I've been spending a lot of time searching thru the PopSci archives - http://www.popsci.com/archives - and I'm really astounded at the volume of information related to wood working in many many issues. Everything from mixing shellac and making gluepots to building boats, handplanes, power tools, you name it.

The articles nearly always include blueprints for whatever project they discuss, and some are very interesting. If you haven't dived into this yet, you are missing an extraordinary resource!
