We had to be at the hospital today at 7, they did a non-exercise stress test--they give you medication to increase your heart rate instead of having to do the treadmill--it didn't show anything exciting--ok good--then they told us that the "electric" doctor that he was supposed to see on the 16th was there and they were going to work him in----great---
Saw Electrophysologist (?) and he set up a test for Thursday in Des Moines--we have to be there at 7--so we will go tomorrow afternoon, it is about 2.5+ hours away, they said that after the tests, if they warrented, they would put in an ICD which is a pacemaker/defibulator. OK---then
they said that his regular cardiologist was there and he wanted to see him---he will not do anything further until the other tests are done.
Then blood work, and finally got home about 2, he is snoring in his chair currently.
possible nasty weather moving in on Friday, so not sure when we will be home--if it is supposed to last long we will check out of the motel and go to our son and DIL in Grimes--opposite side of Des Moines. They wanted us to stay there, but the motel has great rates for patients, a free shuttle to hospital across the interstate, and good food, so we will see. It is supposed to have WIFI so I will take my netbook and try and see if it will work.
Poor Ollie (puppy) is back again with my boss (where we got him) I bet he will think he has been deserted. It is sure quiet around here without him.
I have rambled enough.
