And the Baghdad battery about the same time, so electricity was known. Who knows, maybe they did have an internet back then.
Anyway about the Kindle thing. I downloaded a few. The free ones are rather disappointing. There were a couple that said "fully illustrated", but weren't. Oh, well. I'll try nearly anything twice if it's free. Once if it costs me.
