My nephew was down to help me split fire wood tday and he just found out his oldest son had made "Airman of the year" at his base and was going to New Mexico to compete for Airman of the year nationally.

Donald something just don't seem right air man of the year and you make him split wood. Just kidding it's hard work like that, that got him where he is today. His family is really proud I'm sure.

That's EXCELLENT! Did he get a cush parking spot outside the BX and gym? I know that the honor usually comes with some pretty nice other perks (my roomate got it once many years ago and the prizes were pretty nice.) Tell him congratulations from a fellow blue-suiter and well done.
