Not just Haiti Bro. Check out the Soloman islands. They've had a raft of earth quakes from 4.7 to 7.1 over the past few months. Things are shaking up on this old rock.

The community radio station where I volunteer got permission from the FCC to raise money for Haiti. We went on the air at 0600 today and raised almost $100K in 12 hours. The money will go directly to 4 charities on the ground in Haiti.

Good on you PK. They need every bit they can get.

No one will ever know. Bodies are being burned and buried by bulldozer with no documentation whatsoever.

Haiti has been a basket case for at least 100 years, so any estimates are really nothing more than guesses, and probably more aligned with political/financial aid motives than based in reality.

Yes it is a tragedy, but body counts are often used for other purposes.
