Answer-

Who cares? People like it.

A while back Roger asked the question and put his pics of the piece on view. I kept thinking about it and made a couple to put around the house. (thirty minutes to make one is a generous estimate, Roger)

They bring a big smile to everybody who sees one, and my wife thinks one on the kitchen counter to hold her recipe glasses is great. The one below is near the front door. I'm thinking about mounting one of the hood of my truck.

My favorite thing to do is show one with out the glasses to someone and tell them "If you can tell me what it is for, I'll give it to you!". Very seldom can anyone guess what it does. After I show it with the glasses they are usually glad that I'm too easy and give it to them anyway. :lol: :lol:
