Well he now has 3 more stents. They decided this morning once chest discomfort started again at rest that there was really no choice but to find out what was going on.

They had two complete cath teams and the bypass team standing by, that is how afraid that something might happen they were.

They decided so fast to take him that the youngest son (3.5 hour drive)didn't have time to get there and our oldest son (2 hour drive) got there about 10 minutes before he was finished.

They restented an 80% blocked previously stented lower part of the LAD, left anterior decending artery (widow maker), it is all stents now, and a large vein that feed off of it was 95%, do to how it was situated they had to use two small stents.

He still has a couple of 50% blocked areas, but they are not worried about them yet.

When they called Troy and I in after it was over, Duane told the cardiologist that he was sure glad it was over---the cardiologist told him that he was even more glad, he was not looking for a good outcome.

He will probably get to come home tomorrow.

So thanks for the prayers and keep them coming.
Love you all and know that I can count on you.

Vicki and Duane

Vicki, that's the best news I've had for...I can't remember how long. With everyone here pulling for you both there was no doubt in my mind.

Now, That's got to be the best early Christmas present you'll ever get!!!Vick, I'm sure you already know this, but we're all so determined to pray you and Duane through this. God still works miracles every day, this could be the time when HE has replaced all the arteries with brand new ones and Duane will never have another problem.

I'm so happy for you guys!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Great news. Hope the mending continues at home. Thoughts and prayers are yours.
Here is to hoping you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a much less hectic New Year.
