Well I will start off saying that i normally dont partake in prayer requests or similar things. I myself am not a deeply religious person and i just live my days honestly, truthfully, and just live by the simple rule of karma, What goes around comes around, meaning if your good to others good will happen to you. Now the reason i am asking for prayers is we just found out that my wife's uncle was killed in a motorcycle accident this evening, he is leaving behind 2 daughters, age 23, and 26 The youngest was along on w/ her boyfriend on his bike with others. Her dad fell behind in the pack and evidently tried to pass a car and lost control and hit an embankment (we believe it was a section of the road with a double lane for passing but we dont know for sure.) after they realized he was behind one of the riders went back looking for him and found him. we have heard that he was breathing but more than likely they were his last breathes. Pennsylvania has a "NO HELMET LAW" and he didnt usually wear helmets and more than likely wasnt but again we dont know. His youngest daughter whom was along on the ride is in extreme shock of her dad passing away just minutes behind them and isnt speaking much at all but it will take an enormous amount of healing for these two girls. This was the third oldest sibling of my father inlaw's family, my father inlaw is taking this very hard as is is youngest brother and his older sister, They just buried their mom last year. This is a terrible thing for his daughters to deal with and hopefully all involved will have enough strength to get them through this trajedy.

We Love you Uncle Jed!

As an old time biker I can share our loss. My prayers are with the girls on the loss of their father.

Every time that we get on the trike I always say a prayer that some idiot doesn't pull out in front of us, or something else happen.
Prayers for sure Jeremy, I feel so sorry for the daughter that was there, my own father fell to the floor and passed away of a massive heart attack literally about 10 feet from where I was watching tv, when I was 13, it has been 42 years and I can still see it.

Thank you all for your thoughts and i will share them with the girls. We have learned that he caused this accident himself. In trying to catch up to the group he attempted to pass a car on the right side on the apron of the road and lost control and crashed, breaking his arm, leg and his neck which is what caused his death. Even though he did something completely stupid and has been a biker for Many years. You want to blame him but it wont change anything, and it certainly doesnt lessen the loss of a great man even with his poor judgment at that time.

Again thank you all

Jeremy
