Those surge totals look like they belong to a hurricane!

Is everyone OK along the coast?

My cottage on the Delaware By is suspect. The Noreaster last fall brought water to within a vertical foot of my threshold. I been sweating it all week! :(

I'll call my neighbor who lives there year round for a status report when I get the nerve up.

P.S. never buy a house that fish swim uner at High Tide! Trust me on this one!

Good thoughts are coming your way...

Now, I have to worry about my mom's house in Cape May...

Soaked in North Carolina - some friends in Va report more of the same. Ground soaked, heavy winds knock trees down over power lines. Lots of street flooding and the occassional idiot that drives through the road closed barriers and gets stuck with water over the dashboard. Funny except for the professionals that have to go rescue the idiot.

Ready for a sunny weekend to try to dry out a little.

Isn't it time for you to come up North and guest teach at American Sycamore or the Artisan's Guild in Moscow, OH?

We actually have water in the basement, seeping up through the cracks in the concrete. The builder didn't put plastic down under the floor. It's been seeping, but never this bad.

I think the rain has finally stopped and we're supposed to have a sunny cloudy mix tomorrow, then Sunday sunshine and 70.

We've been waiting for days to bring our boat back from the boatyard and the winds and seas were just not favorable. Ida had 10-12 foot seas running in the Gulf a couple of days ago. Today we brought her back on a lovely sunny day. They predicted 10-15 knot winds. We had 20-25.

Still a lot better than what you guys are getting. Stay safe.

My cottage on the Delaware Bay dodged the bullet. Debris floated on the lawn, but the water stayed below the level by about a foot that would have flooded the house. :-D
