My deepest respect and thanks to all who haved and are serving. My deepest sympathies to those left behind who know the ture depth of their sacrifice.
I've learned a lot this year, about this day and thought I'd pass it on. Many may already know this.
It was the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month of 1918, when the Armistice was signed ending "The Great War" or the "War to End all Wars." As such, for most of the world, this day has been set asside to remember those who've served and sacrificed for our freedoms. Veterans associations world wide sell the little Poppy Flowers to raise funds for their organizations to assist veterans. The Poppy was choosen because it was the only thing that was left growing in the desimated fields of battle from The Great War.
Take a moment to remember this day, those who've served to safegaurd what we normally take for granted.
Then take another moment to remember thoses who've paid the ultimate price for you and your's.
