Lawrence, could you just enlarge the one on this page on your printer or photoshop? It's the same size as the ones on the WoodWorker's Central pages.

Won't the Logo be copyright? Don't you need to as permission from the owners of the logo?

Lawrence,
I'm a CorelDraw nut and can't resist a challenge so I took a screenshot of the current logo, which is pretty low resolution, and made my best clone of it. A jpg is shown below but I'm perfectly happy with the admin dudes taking it off if I've offended them with the attempt.

For me it was a fun exercise but I can totally understand if they don't want the logo adulterated.

Admin dudes?

oh yes, definately looking for permission as well... I didn't even think of that... I was thinking of adding (carving) it on a trophy for the winner of the WWA fantasy football league. The carvewright works better with higher resolution pics-- sorry to ask in public, it would have been better to have asked via PM

Lawrence PM Jim Mattson.

I can't see him having a problem, or any other member having a problem with it. However Im often not very cluey on these things.

Jim is a heqq of a nice guy and I'm sure you will enjoy your conversation with
him irregardless of the outcome.

Good luck, Oh great job Jon!!

Eric

Lawrence, there is a full page somewhere on here, that I can not find right now, of the logo in many different sizes. That's where my avatar came from. I didn't resize it.

your best bet is to contact the admins to get a "HIGH RES" logo Anything displayed on the web is only 72 dpi. Here is the link that bob couldnt find

Thanks for the advice folks, I've contacted Mr. Mattson
..and Jon, thank YOU for taking the time to create the larger format pic-- I"ll wait for permission and if no larger format pic already exists for me to use yours will work great I'm sure.
Lawrence

ps- the wwa logo you made looks GREAT as a computer desktop background!
LDR

Lawrence,
If the admin guys say it is OK, I can send you any hi res version you need. We'll wait and see what the verdict is.

skyrider,
I've also used Corel since v.3. I have v12 at home and X3 at work. I've loved it since the beginning.
