That would certainly be the best ending.

It landed not far from here, right out near the airport, DIA. I got watching it too. The way it came down makes me think that the Blackhawk may have parked above it and let the rotor wash gently push it down.

I think you're right though, that youngin' is probably hiding with his tail betwixed his legs.

Larry ,

I had the same bad feeling in the pit of my stomach as you.

Thank God the kid is OK. At least for now.

On the news tonight they said the family has been involved with a few reality TV shows. Wife Swap was one and there was another about storm chasers. They said this might have been a publicity stunt.

I'm just glad the kid is safe.

If this were true, there should be consequences for wasting public officials' time and resources.

According to an interview with Wolf Blitzer, the kid reportedly said sometihng like "My dad said it was part of the show" I don't remember the exact words, but it's real. I heard the boy's comment on the radio. His dad had no explanation for the kid's comment.

FWIW - I thought they said they were on Wife Swap twice and he is a storm chaser (not necesssarily on TV as one).

Anyway, I'm glad the boy is safe, but they should definitely be charged for the expenses if it turns out it was planned.
