Well, This isnt a tool but it certainly is gloat worthy in anticipation. My wife is heading to the hospital to be induced for our second son "Evan" monday morning 9/21. My oldest son Owen will be 5 in December. My life is about to be flipped upside down once again and my wife is READY to get this kid into the world and i am too! oh and by the way i know (NPDH) rules apply but believe me after tommorrow my wife would dissagree with the didnt happen part LOL... I will post a pic as soon as i can! Oh and on a side note i am hoping she goes past midnight to the 22nd ...that would mean my Bday is apr 22, and my oldest is Dec 22, and if she holds out til midnight:01 then it will be sept 22, my wife dont like the idea of 12 hours of labor again.

hey jeremy ,

you could join her in labor .......... just take your bottom lip and strech it over the back of your head   , wifey will appreciate it ! it might even take her mind off what shes feeling for a while . come to think of it, she will probably laugh so hard the baby might just come shooting out ! tell the doctor to have the catchers mit ready

on a more serious note i hope all goes smoothly for you both 8)

Wooo Hoo! Hang in there....

Rhonda was in labor for a day and a half with Dominic... when she was going through it, she didn't enjoy herself... 11 years later, she can barely remember it...

Jeremy, tell your wife I hope it is soon over and she has a healthy baby boy to hold instead of LUG around. Believe me, no one is hoping more that he arrives today than she is!!!

Ha Ha, finally something that I did that you woodworking "boys" can't do!!! :)
Notice I said did :)

well he's here!
Evan Thomas Wilcox
7lbs 11.1oz 19 1/4" Long and born at 4:53 pm EST

He was however born via a C-Section. She got to 7 cm dialated and then held for a few hours with no progression. Also the baby started showing some signs of stress with his heart rate dropping a bit when she would have contractions. The doctor was concerned with this and also the fact that this was her second pregnancy and usually they progress much more quickly than the first. After he was born the doctor confirmed that his cord was wrapped around his belly and basically tied him in there. he couldnt decend any further to allow the dialation to continue. He his healthy other than low blood sugar and mom hasnt been able to hold him at all yet :( i have held him at minutes old and believe me i am one proud poppa. Crystal my wife is emotionally and physically spent right now and we are waiting for Evan to stabilize with his sugars from mom's Gestational diabetes. As soon as i get a good family picture i will post one!

Awesome, so glad all is well.

Mom is going to be a tired gal for a few days (who am I kidding--years).

Don't you just love that "new baby" smell?? Before the dirty diapers start appearing. :D

That is one Happy big brother. Give em a few years, they will be banging on each other like all good brothers do.
I hope Moma recovers quickly. Shes going to need all her strength to stay ahead of those two.

Larry, you may have to fight off the other grandpa's ....but there's always room for one more!

Momma is doing great all things considering, very sore from the c-section and yes i totally expect the the "war of brotherhood" to commence in about 4-5 years. Hopefully though my oldest will be more of a protective loving big brother since he will be 5 yrs older.

Mom and baby evan will be home on saturday! I am ready miss her being home and ready for that little bundle to be here.

Thanks for all the warm wishes
