I'm off, all being well, a week on Sunday (20th Sept) to the rather grandly named European Woodworking Show:

http://www.europeanwoodworkingshow.eu/index.html

Something for all my wide-ranging interests

Two Brilliant Turners - Mark Baker (Editor of Woodturning Magazine)
- Mark Hancock

Sorby and Roly Munrow Turning Tools

Carving and Carving Tools

A Great selection of Fine Planes Including Lie-Neilson, Veritas, Clifton

Two Plane Makers including Konrad Sauer of Sauer and Steiner

Michel Auriou maker of the world famous Auriou Rasps and Rifflers.

Fantastic Bench makers, Fine furniture makers.....the list goes on and on

Check out the website ... And its links and have a good drool :D

(Damage to Keyboards etc not covered)

I wish I could go on both days... 7 hours is not going to be enough :(

Ray

ps If A nice little Gloat doesn't come out of this I'm going to be very disappointed.

Remember to save some money so you can build the shop, cause it's kind of hard to use the tools it you don't have a shop. :D :D :D

I look forward to a complete review upon your return. I'm beginning to get more and more interested in English woodworking as I will be (hopefully) coming that way to live in the next 4 years or so (or earlier if I can swing a PCS before retirement)

I hope you have a blast--and take pics!

Lawrence
