Just to keep everyone updated, it has been exactly four weeks since I injured my hand and posted the picture of the damage done to it. My hand is healing nicely and I didn't have any nerve or tendon damage and am starting to have full use of it. There will be a nasty scar but will be a good reminder to be more careful and not try to catch things flying off a machine :) Have a great day......Jim

Great news Jimmy, and I really glad that you'll get full use back again. Keep up the PT and I hope you're back up to full speed soon.

That was a very close call - but as you say no permanent damage other than scar tissue. A solid reminder to not try and "catch" things falling or flying in the shop.

Glad you're healing up okay.

Great News Jim. I posted your story on the British forum and everyone was most concerned for you. Glad it's getting better so well and there will be no long term results apart from the scar.

Jim, sorry late posting on this, but certainly glad your hand is coming around.

Hope it will be just a memory before too long.

Jimmy

Boy that's great news Jimmy. I remember that one. That picture had quite the pucker factor.

Wish I'd have been as lucky when I jammed that chisel in my thumb over a year ago. Durn thing's still numb.
