The wood shed is full, the freezers are full of produce from the garden and orchard, both fridges are full of cider, the fruit celler is full, all of the neighbors are well supplied with apples and cider. While city people are having shortages, here on the farm we have plenty to share. It is only in my old age that I realize how rich I have always been. I have never went hungry because I could not buy food that I could not harvest. I have never had to watch my children suffer because I could not afford needed medical care. More than half of the people in this world can not say this!
