doesn’t mean you should. ?Can you use a router bit in a drill press? Yes BUT you shouldn’t . I suspect without really knowing that at least one or two of us have asked ourselves about doing that. Hopefully everyone thought it over and decided, NO! Here is a discussion about this topic on a router forum.

There are too many ways to skin a cat to get involved with this technique. If for some reason (good at the time) you have done this please don’t do it again. :shock:
