to be said for a quiet bit of woodworking. The shusssh of a well sharpened gouge removing just a whisper of shaving, the occasional bam of a mallet driving a chisel. If you need a break from electrons, or just a nice change of pace to restore focus, carving may be your answer. Here is some good scoop on the craft.
