be a good time to start planning for fall winter and holiday small projects. Plan for some giveaways at say Halloween as trick or treat items. If you make small cutout items from coloring books and need to add color and want something safe, try these ideas.

Keep your audience in mind and the intended resting place of the object. If you will be making for, or if the object will be used by a smaller child, beware of the coloring agent, it needs to be food safe also keep in mind that a seal coat will probably be needed. Green, blue and orange smiles may not go over so big. Many times just a good rub with a mineral oil will do the job when the color coat is completely dry.

Another thing to keep in mind is the potential chocking hazard a small toy might pose.
