have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. Most of us have either had or come close to an involuntary blood donation at some time or another. We are probably most exposed in our shop or work space to all sorts of injury from a simple splinter to some kind of serious trauma. Being from Rochester, MN home of the MAYO CLINIC I found their suggestions for a first aid kit.

You might also consider keeping an ICE list in your wallet with names relationship and phone# for the folks you want notified In Case of Emergency. On that list adding the place where you generally go for health care would be helpful to first responders/ hospital/ ER folks. Add another list of all the meds both prescription and OTC that you currently use.
