Year when farm stands and farmers markets get into full swing. Almost all of the stands and markets are from local people and really do deserve your business. Somehow, to me, produce and home baked goods from the stands and markets just taste better. Squash and onions, cukeumbers and beans, and the old standby maters and corn. Here are some recipes for corn on the cob a few are cooked on the grill so you can use up all the off cuts that would never see a project (ha! I did get a wood reference in  ). Try some you might find a new favorite rather than the traditional butter salt and pepper just out of the hot pot.

Ahhh yes a nice mater and onion sandwich with a glass of sweet tea or home made lemonade or an occasional barley pop! Summer is good.
