My local PBS station had an episode of THE WOODWRIGHTS SHOP today which featured MARY MAY carving cookie molds. It appeared that she only used 4 or maybe 5 different chisels and in a TV half hour executed a finished cookie mold. She is a teacher and an excellent carver with tons of experience but she didn't have a wall full of chisels and the cutting edges sparkled in the studio lights.
