finally gets better. Not only bread, but a lot of iffy slicing jobs in the kitchen need guidance. Here is a neat idea for you to think about. Eggplant, multiple cukeumbers, squash as well as bread can be sliced with this simple ( 3 pieces) slicing guide. I've seen a lot of guides made out of solid wood but because of the grain situation on narrow parts/fingers, I think good ply is probably a better material although there aren't any fingers in this guide just sides and a base.
