Rounders can turn this project out with enough time for paint to dry before summer fun time (there is a pun there I think and it was intended ) croquet is a genteel pastime but depending on mood can turn savage in the click of a ball.

Members of the Seattle turners club were challenged each year to turn their own croquet balls for competition at the annual picnic. Needless to say, there were some entertaining results.
