number one is amazing beauty. To me, a lot of turning is like watching a caterpillar spin its cocoon and then emerge as a butterfly. Check out these " butterflys".

Please explore this site. The "my workshop" tab is interesting. Admittedly this turner seems to specialize in turning local(Minnesota-Wisconsin) material and burls and live edge but turning the grungy ugly hunks of wood into such beautiful pieces is inspiring.

The turning is amazing, no doubt. But it helps a lot to have such beautiful material to begin with. Great work!
