give glue up much thought? Do you really crank on the clamp pressure? Lets think about that.

I was curious one time about this so tried an experiment. I took a popscicle stick coated with glue and merely pressed it onto a piece of scrap wood sith hand pressure. Then left it for 24 hours. The stick broke before the glue joint failed. Not that I'd recommend not clamping (grin), however. POn the other hand, I usually use quite a bit of clamping pressure.
