I notice that in the "molding" video that the tablesaw used is a SAWSTOP. I ,personally, would be uncomfortable using the saw without using a push stick in the demonstration shown. Even though the technology should protect me, I fear getting in the habit of depending on the technology rather than what in my mind should be common sense and good safety habits. I guess the old adage of "if you aren't comfortable doing somethin -- don't do it" holds true and there are an awful lot of ways to do something, each one of which is correct in the mind of the person doing whatever. I recall seeing just the other day on soe TV show that the inventor of the SAWSTOP put his finger on the line by pushing it into a moving sawblade on one of his saws. The event was filmed and was shown in both regular speed and slow (very very slow) motion. There was no visible injury. It did seem to me that the digit seemed to be just slightly reluctant to move to the blade but that was probably just me and a pucker factor reaction
