My brother talked me into buying a tool from Rockler that does the same thing.........I've never used it.....It has a roller bearing insted of a screw to hold the distnace for the strips.
It is called a "Thin Rip Tablesaw Jig" and I'm sure it works fine but, I just havent had a need for it yet.
Give me time, I've only had it for 2 years!!

Probably wore out sitting in the box. You had better buy another. Mine works great.
