Oh yes my wood working friends, there are many ways to dovetail.
Tell me a dovetail that involves no sawing, and or chiselling!

Oops, I was not specific enough, no sawing, cutting , routing or any other type of machining, pocket knife or other.

Jeff is in the warm zone.

In blacksmithing a butterfly hing is also called a dove tail.

So, I'd say Bob got it. :D

Though I would question the familiar territory statment. :D

That might be the answer!

I was actually thinking about dovetailing nails, ie driving them in at opposing angles to make them hold better.

Yeah I know, I have to get off this nail trip, Im becoming obsessed... :-D

stay tuned, new question soon, I hope....
