I made the wife a new trash bin. We used to sort out burnable trash for the wood stove and the recyclable jars and cans. But the wife found it too hard to put the jars and cans under the sink and get them out when needed. So I made her a trash bin with two compartments one for burnables , and one for recyclables. I made a storage compartment under the one side to store the trash and grocery bags. You just lift out the "false bottom to get to the storage area. I used the push to open drawer slides to make it easier to open.It is ready to finish to match the kitchen cabinets.
