I made a chess set for my one son to go with the table I made him about sixteen years ago. The oldest daughter said her husband wou;d want one too and that i should make one for each of the "kids". after I got them made my wife said I should have made some checkers to go with them, So I set out to make 96 plus checkers. I turned some stock , cut them off on the table saw, drilled a 1/8 inch hole in each, put a wire from a coathanger through the hole to act as an axle, Then I held the checker up to the belt sander at a 45 degree angle and let the belt spin the checker as it sanded the edges, once sanded I finished them and put them on # 6 screws to dry. I keep forgeting the computer posts the pictures in the reverse prder than from I post them.
