Well I finished a table for my grand daughter.I made it out of cherry left over from my daughter's cabinets. I used "screw on " legs so that as she grows longer legs may be put on the keep the table a good height for her. She is going to be two Saturday and I hope the table will "grow" with her. I used gym seal to finish the cherry after a first coat of tung oil to bring out the color. The apron and legs have two coats of gym seal, the top has four coats.
