I made the oldest son an entertainment center and have it ready to finish. I made it out of Cherry.

For cherry I prefer pure tung oil.but for things exposed to water or steam like kitchen cabinets I use gym seal. I used tung oil on the on it since I had used tung oil on stands and tables I had built for him earlier.
