I haven't been posting lately. The crash of Fototime, who was my photo host, has left it really hard to post a lot of pictures.
Every picture I have posted in the last several years has disappeared.
My Alamo build thread has just under 50,000 hits. But now all 150 pictures are gone.
What a shame.
I can post a few using a free host. Here is a carriage I just finished for someone with an old barrel.
The barrel has history. It was found in a river on the coast of Oregon. It is believed to be this barrel from the battle of the Rock.
https://pacificcity.org/Stories/TheCann ... eRock.htmlThe barrel is only 28" long but is a fat little beast.
I don't have the barrel in my possession but I did make this naval carriage for it.
Made from 2.5" thick oak.
I'm getting ready to ship it to Oregon. I'll post pictures of the mounted barrel when I get them.
