 Post subject: chestnut cabinet

The daughter had some warped and bug eaten chestnut boards in her barn and wanted a cabinet made from them .So I made a cabinet out of maple and baltic birch and faced it with the chestnut.I had to make some pieces "t" sections so that the maple would draw the warpage out of the chestnut. It ended up fairly well.

very nice, I like the look or rustic wood with beatle/worm holes etc. If the wood doesnt have them then i make my own 8)
