Do you teach your school kids woodworking?
Yes. It is compulsery from grade 3-9. 70 minutes a week. It’ s called craft in the sylabus. 50 % textiles and soft materials and 50% wood/metal and other hard materials.
Page 255-261 in the national syllabus for the compulsery school. I taught design technology in a two international schools many years ago.
I work in a small school 200 students. Got a good workshop, with 16 workstations/workbenches. (Wich is max groupsize) Two lathes, pillardrill, bandsander, discsander, thickener/shaper, bandsaw, 2 hegnersaws, industrial shopvac. MIG weld, propaneburner, anvil... Many tools are old but in good shape and updated to legal standard for use with students under supervision.
