Greetings, all.
I'm a long-absent, now returning to the fold, user. (Sure, when I want something)

I have a Foley Belsaw table saw. I'm in need of a miter gauge. The slot is 3/4" by 1/4". I'm pretty good at searching the web, but I can find no miter gauge that's 1/4 inch thick. I'd buy a used one, if it's accurate, if I could find one.

Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks.

You can always make your own out of UHMW plastic or hardwood

DUSTYINMN: Welcome back :-D If push comes to shove last resort kind of situation, pick the current aftermarket miter guage that most suits and appeals to you. Then, void any warranties and take it to a machine shop or a school with a machine tool program and have them mill the miter slide to your specification. As RONTETI proposes, making your own miter guage is not too difficult. Perhaps now is the time to consider a cross cut sled with modifications to cut angles.
Good luck in your quest and please let the forum know of your results and solutions. your isan interesting situation.

I seem to recall that the Incra Miter gauges had a fairly thin bar ... I know they don't bottom out in a typical 3/8" deep miter slot.
However, I cannot confirm that on their website.

I can check on Friday at work.

Full Disclosure - I work for Woodcraft.

Do you need a miter gauge?
Do often make odd angled cross-cuts?
If not, would a simple sled be an answer?

The bar on my Incra 1000SE is .375"
A one-foot length of .250 x .750 cold-rolled steel flat bar stock is $17 from Metal Supermarkets, if you have one in your area. Take any old miter gauge and drill (and maybe tap) a couple of holes to replace the bar and you're good to go.

Thanks to all who took the time to respond. I purchased an Incra V27 and a friend who is a machinist will mill it down.
