I will be making 2 sets of kitchen cabinets shortly and was planing on using UV Prefinished Plywood for the boxes and shelves.
The faces will be cherry and oak.
How do I glue strips to it?
What finish will most closely match the plywood (I think the plywood is maple) for edging on the shelves?
Any tips for working with it?

:OT:
Best place to buy drawer slides, hinges, ... .

Sorry Man,
Can't help you here.
Kitchen cabinets are way out of my skill level.
Never done any.
Don't want to do any.

Everything I do is fun to do.
Those sound like work.
I'm retired. I avoid work whenever my Wife allows it. :-?

I've had quite good success simply gluing edge banding, approx. 1/4" thick, with ordinary Titebond glue. But my approach calls for sanding the edging flush with the face of the plywood. Doesn't sound like that's an option if your base material is prefinished. I've never used it but there's this iron on edging that might work for you but here you might have a problem matching the panel. Most of the cabinets I've made for my place I've used a contrasting wood for the edging for the veery reason I wasn't sure I could match the color of the plywood.

Out of curiosity, why the choice of pre-finished sheet goods for the cabinets? Not trying to talk you out of it, just wonderin'.

Faster and easer with minimal extra cost, finishing the inside of a batch of kitchen cabinets is time consuming and a pain with out spray equipment.

Newtooth thank you for the link.

Makes sense. At least for the insides. I think finishing the doors & drawer fronts would make edge banding easier, though. Just my simple minded approach.
