 Post subject: ugliest joinery ever?

Check out this use of plastic bottles as heat shrink tubing to make joints. I doubt anyone here will want to build furniture that looks like that. On the other hand, it may come in handy as a clamping method for a hard-to-hold joint.

Yes indeed! That is a worth-while thing to remember. I think it may be a bit difficult to "remove" the "clamp" if used in a LOT of places
but it's bound to be handy sometime.
