I watch the utube videos on rubbing out a finish. They always show it done on a nice flat top. How do you deal with moldings and routed edges ans stuff like that?

Ron

Use something that will conform to the shape as backing.

Hey Ron,

I use a soft, short bristle brush and whatever abrasive grit is required (FF, FFF, or rottenstone). Sometimes a few drops of water are needed, but I always follow up with a dry, clean brush.

Good luck,
Tom
