We get some sycamore around here but the others I'd have to buy. Given the fact that for most of my hardwoods needs there's plenty of stuff available free most of the time. That said, at some point I'm gonna pop for some osage orange since the pieces I've seen turned out of it are really beautiful.

I've never seen mulberry. Have to look it up.

Mulberry is a very beatful pale yellow heart wood ivory coloured sap wood with some verance and a fine grain.
I had the power company trim large chunk out of one (mulberry) in my yard the spaulted peces were something else.
A lot of the odd or exotics I use are found, free or fire wood rescue.
