The Wixey angle gauge I bought several years ago has given up the ghost. According to the Wixey folks, these rely on a tiny pendulum like mechanism to detect angle and eventually a bit of dust will creep in and lock it up. Does anyone have a gauge that they know is all solid state - ie, no moving parts. I'm looking at the iGaging Angle Cube, but when I called the number on the website the person I talked to was pretty clueless, so the answer I got from them carries no weight. The sensors in phones are solid state, but using my phone for an angle gauge is awkward. It's also a great way to fill the phone with sawdust.
